Dear Evergreen Families,
Welcome to Evergreen 2011-2012!
The new school year will soon be upon us, and we are in the midst of preparations for you and your child to join us at Evergreen. As your family is enjoying summer days with occasional thoughts ahead of school, we are finishing up the last weeks of our summer program, organizing paperwork and school supplies, and making some improvements to our facility. Our improvement plans include painting the hallway, new carpeting in the offices, and lots of new furnishings for the classrooms. We are also adding new hallway cubbies so each child will have their own and will no longer “share” cubbies.
Please see the email with instructions for children’s enrollment forms and contact us with any questions. It is our first try at expediting the forms distribution and we hope you find it effective.
Although our office now communicates predominantly through email, each family has been assigned a Parent Mailbox. Located on top of the cubbies inside the school door, they are arranged alphabetically by family’s last name. Please check frequently for written communication.
We will be finishing up our summer program on August 19th, and will be in the office sporadically between then and the start of staff prep week at the beginning of September.
