Committee Information

We're so happy to have parents involved in the Evergreen Community! If you'd like to be involved with any of the committees below, download the Parent Involvement Form, and drop it off in the main office.

Fund Raising

Evergreen’s fundraisers help support teacher and children enrichment programs, financial assistance and provide other support to the school. The fundraising events of the past have included an Auction, Cocktail Party, and concerts. We are always open to new ideas!

Room Parents

Help with collection of emails, general communication with families and teachers via email, organize various teacher/staff gifts, general organizational assistance to the fundraising committee and to the classrooms (ex: classroom recycling). One or two representatives are needed for each classroom. We also need a volunteer for Room Parent Coordinator to facilitate projects and events with all Room Parents.

Hospitality

A “behind the scenes” job. We have food at most committee meetings, conference days, etc. Can you bake (or buy) a treat and drop it off at school?

Tour Guides/Admissions Committee

Here’s a chance for returning Evergreen families to share your school experience with prospective families. Tours are scheduled during the school day in the fall and winter.

Substitute Teacher

Parenting experience is all that is needed. We will train. Would you like to assist a classroom teacher if someone is out sick or at a professional training?

Board of Trustees

Occasionally, Evergreen’s Board of Trustees looks to the school community for new members with expertise in certain areas, such as finance, legal, etc. If you have any interest in submitting an application to the Board in the event a position becomes available, please contact Ginny.

Office Technical Support

We can always benefit from the technical skills of parents when computer issues arise.
