Our son has benefitted greatly from the positive, supportive environment at EDS. We initially chose EDS, in part, based on the quality of the staff and the program’s emphasis on social development. Both our daughters attended Evergreen Day School and our family couldn’t be happier with their years there. We found the teachers and staff to be just the right combination of nurturing, good humored, and structured. They understand children: how they think, what they enjoy, and how to inspire them to learn. We found the emphasis on play, not formal curricula, to be just the right thing for our children. Furthermore, our eldest daughter was more than prepared as she entered Kindergarten, and her Kindergarten teacher commented on how well the Evergreen kids did as they came into her class.
Our younger daughter will soon enter Kindergarten, and we know that she is ready to go, thanks to her wonderful years at Evergreen. We are sad to move on and will miss all the staff and teachers who took such loving care of our girls.

Evergreen Day School was an exemplary preschool for my daughter and son. The Director, G. McCabe, is extremely professional, intelligent, considerate and her personality has a ripple effect across the board. The teachers are very qualified, caring, and trustworthy. There are not many places in today’s world where you can feel completely at ease leaving your child…Evergreen (with its wonderful staff) is the exception!
